The Community Counselling Centre (CCC) is a unique charity organization, operating both as a therapeutic counselling centre for the community as well as a training facility for graduate students specializing in counselling. In partnership with Northern Health, the CCC has provided low-barrier and low-cost counselling services to the people of Prince George and surrounding communities since 2009. Since opening its doors, the CCC has provided high quality experiential learning to over 100 graduate practicum students, and as a result, has provided short-term and long-term counselling to over 2500 clients.

The Community Counselling Centre upholds the principles of respect, integrity, equality, and dignity, in all areas of human engagement. Our mission is to train professionals to support and enhance the psychological, social, spiritual, and physical well-being of individuals, families, and communities. We do this through engagement and collaboration with community members, agencies, and organizations to offer a range of supportive services and opportunities.

The CCC is a registered non-profit society and is governed by the Board of Directors of the Northern Community Counselling Centre Society. The Board consists of community members, student members, and the CCC's Clinical Coordinator.
